You
can select bodies or components to include in or exclude from section views.
This can be useful when you are trying to show the inner details of the
assembly. Shown below is an assembly of Flashlight for which we will create a
section view.
To
create Section view we go to the Section view command from Heads-up View
toolbar or View > Display > Section View. As shown below we have a new option called Selected
components shown in the Red box. Here we can select the desired
components/bodies and select below if we want to include them or exclude them
from the section view.
Enable
selection plane option allows you to display
a temporary plane that helps you select components that are not visible in the
model or in the sectioned area.
We
had selected to exclude the Bulb from the Section view and below is the result
shown in multiple views.
