Perspective View in SolidWorks


A perspective view is the view normally seen by the eye. Parallel lines recede into the distance to a vanishing point. You can create a Named View in a drawing of a perspective view of a model.

To display the model in Perspective view:

Expand View Settings (Heads-up View toolbar) and click Perspective, or click View > Display > Perspective as shown below.


 
You can modify the perspective by specifying the Object Sizes Away. The smaller the value, the greater the amount of perspective distortion.
To change the perspective: Click View > Modify > Perspective as shown below.
(You need to have selected the Perspective view as shown in above picture to get this Modify option)


 
Now you can enter a value and see that the object sizes away as shown below.
